Netflix Movies: Happiness for Beginners – Trailer

Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming original movie Happiness for Beginners, based on the 2015 wildly popular novel by Katherine Center.

Written and directed by Vicky Wight, the film revolves around Helen, a schoolteacher who has always lived her life as far from the edge as possible.

“Newly divorced, she joins a quirky group of strangers on a survival course for the “Adventure of a Lifetime” with the hope of learning how to live – and love – again,” the official synopsis reads.

The cast includes Ellie Kemper, Luke Grimes, Nico Santos, Blythe Danner, Ben Cook, Shayvawn Webster, Esteban Benito, Gus Birney and Julia Shiplett.

The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at Helen’s adventures on her backcountry survival course hiking the Appalachian Trail and at how her relationship with newcomer Jake (Luke Grimes) evolves during their journey.

Happiness for Beginners will stream on Netflix on July 27.
