Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, has teamed up with Cristiano Ronaldo for a new global ad campaign, aimed to give his fans an introduction to Web3 through the world of NFTs.
The Portuguese football icon stars in a 60-second commercial that showcases the CR7 NFT Collection, the first of a series of drops, including seven animated NFT statues, each depicting an iconic moment from his life, such as childhood moments spent in Portugal and career-defining bicycle kicks.
“We all have one great story to tell. One that starts with a humble beginning. Where we work hard. Dream big. And learn to believe in ourselves. Where we rise to every challenge. That’s how we can change the game. And together we can exchange the world. This is where our story begins”, he says in the ad, urging viewers to join him on Binance.
The statues have four different rarity levels – Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal & come with its own set of exclusive perks, ranging from personal message from Cristiano Ronaldo, autographed CR7 & Binance merchandise, guaranteed access for all future CR7 NFT drops, complimentary CR7 Mystery Boxes, and entry into giveaways with signed merchandise and prizes.
The inaugural Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection dropped on November 18.
