Coors celebrates its Coors Light beer as “the official beer of being off the clock” in a new commercial.
The spot features a man working as a mascot who goes into the locker room after a game, to get some rest. He takes off his ram mask and grabs a Coors Light from a cooler to drink it on the couch, but he soon finds himself with an unexpected guest – the rival team’s mascot, a disgruntled-looking bird. He invites the other mascot to join him on the couch by gesturing with his beer in welcome and the end of the video sees both of them on the sofa, enjoying a cold can of Coors Light.
The commercial, scored by the 2015 single “It Don’t Get Better Than This” by Royal Deluxe, from their self-titled album, ends with the onscreen line “The official beer of being off the clock” and the slogan “Made to Chill”.
Coors is 4.2% ABV light beer that is always lagered, filtered, and packaged cold.
