TurboTax promotes its TurboTax Live feature, which allows users to connect and get support in real time from a CPA, in a series of new commercials that carry the tagline “You Do Your Thing”.
One of them features a TurboTax Live Expert riding a horse through the woods and saying that people think unusual circumstances means complicated taxes, but for a TurboTax Live Expert like her it just makes things interesting. She then offers support to a professional gamer with a ton of expenses and to an Alaskan Survivalist who wants to know what happens if he is in a state with no income tax, but his survival videos are viewed in 38 countries.
“An interesting life can mean an even greater refund,” the woman says at the end of the commercial, adding the tagline “You do your thing, we’ve got your taxes”.
Other similar commercials released in the past by TurboTax feature a diverse cast of TurboTax Live experts who assess even the most unique tax situations and provide people with useful tax-related information. Among those who get support from TurboTax Live experts are a woman who wants to know if she can deduct her clarinet as a medical expense, a circus clown, two fishermen, a couple whose son is gone off to college, and a photographer.
According to TurboTax, 100% of TurboTax Live experts are CPAs, EAs or Tax Attorneys who can even review your return line by line, sign it, and guarantee it’s done right.
