McDonald's UK Advert - Breakfast Is Back

McDonald’s UK has released a new advert to announce that it started serving breakfast again.

The 20-second spot features the preparation process of a Bacon & Egg McMuffin, while in the background the 1983 hit single “True” by the English new wave band Spandau Ballet plays.

Another spot features McDonald’s manager Chris Kamara giving a mouth-watering line up of returning McDonald’s menu heroes. He mentions the hash brown, available until 11 AM, the Bacon Roll and Hot Chocolate, that make a delightful starting combo to finish off the backline, which also includes Bacon & Egg McMuffin and Pancakes & Syrup, the Sausage & Egg McMuffin, the item that starts it all up for McDonald’s, the Cheesy Bacon Flatbread, the Bacon Double Cheeseburger, the Bacon Mayo Chicken.

The breakfast items are available on the menu, to be served, to more than 1,250 branches from Wednesday, July 8th.

In a previous statement to customers, chief executive officer for McDonald’s UK and Ireland, Paul Pomroy, said: “As with our main menu, we will have a limited menu at breakfast but we’ve kept the classics – hash browns, McMuffins and pancakes – all return.” He has also mentioned that “Unfortunately, whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines,” they are unable to serve porridge, bagels and their Breakfast Wrap because they have fewer people in the kitchen”.
