Porsche has released its official Super Bowl 2020 commercial, showcasing an all-star cast of cars from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany (which is home to the global headquarters of Porsche).
“If given the choice of all the cars in the legendary Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, which car would you choose if you had to catch a stolen Porsche?” this is the question raised by the 2 minute and a half film, titled “The Heist,” which takes viewers on a heart-pounding chase. Serving as the setting is a series of beautiful German locations like Heidelberg, Heppenheim and the Black Forest. Iconic Porsche cars including the storied 917K, Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, 911 RSR, 718 Cayman GT4, 911 Carrera 4S, 930 Turbo, and 911 GT2 RS, as well as the all-new fully-electric Taycan, take center stage.
“Finally, an electric car that steals you. The all-new Taycan,” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial.
