Italian beer brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro has launched a global campaign to promote its alcohol-free beer.
Created by Trouble Maker and Unbound Creative and titled “Back to zero”, the spot tells, in reverse, the story of how a young couple met at a rooftop bar, while ordering a Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%. The two lovers are also shown travelling on Vespas and exploring the underwater world.
The brand revealed that the underwater shots have been taken in the world’s deepest thermal pool, located in Padua. The commercial, directed by Greg Ohrel, has been filmed in the Italian coastal city of Ortigia in Sicily and aims to inspire people of all ages to try the Peroni Nastro Azzurro, which boasts superior taste and zero alcohol.
The beer was launched globally across 28 markets, including the UK, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, South Korea and Turkey.
The campaign runs across TV and video-on-demand, and also includes social, out-of-home and below-the-line marketing.
