The American brand of strained yogurt Chobani has released a new commercial, featuring a fruit symphony.
“We believe in the power of food to build a better, happier, and healthier world. That’s why we make food everyone can believe in.” – this is the idea behind the 30-second spot, showing a group of people under a big tree in a field, using fruit as musical instruments and singing “What The World Needs Now is Love” (first recorded and made popular by Jackie DeShannon).
With a coconut, an apple, and an orange as drums, the original orchestra also includes a watermelon, a pomegranate, peaches, lime, strawberries, lemons, nectarines, pineapple, bananas, and other.
The ad ends with the onscreen line “Food brings us together” and with Chobani’s tagline, “Believe in Food”.
Chobani’s range of yogurts includes “Fruit on the bottom” (the yogurt is built on a foundation of real fruit, such as banana, apricot, blackberry and black cherry), “Blended” (the yogurt and fruit are mixed together, coming in 14 flavors, such as watermelon, kiwi, apple cinnamon, blueberry, key lime, mixed berry, vanilla whole milk, and others), “Plain” (just milk and live cultures), “Simply 100 Greek Yogurt” (the only 100-calorie Greek yogurt sweetened naturally, and available in 16 flavors, such as caramel pecan turtle, strawberry chocolate truffle, vanilla coconut macaron, and others), “Chobani Flip” (made part yogurt and part toppings, available in 23 flavors, such as carrot cake creation, strawberry summer crisp, pistachio paradise, pure pineapple, peanut caramel satisfaction, and others), “MEZÉ DIP” (consisting in creamy dips with real vegetables and only natural ingredients) and Drinks (which are smooth drinkable yogurts coming in 8 flavors).
