Queer (A24 Movie) Trailer Song

Queer (A24 Movie) Actor Daniel Craig as William Lee

A24 has released the official trailer for the upcoming drama film Queer, based on the 1985 novella of the same name by William S. Burroughs.

The song playing in the trailer is Sinead O’Connor’s cover of “All Apologies”, originally written and performed by Nirvana. This track was part of Nirvana’s 1993 In Utero album.

In 1950s Mexico City, American ex-pat William Lee (played by Daniel Craig), a solitary man in his late forties, lives quietly within a small community of Americans. His life takes a turn, however, when Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), a young student, arrives in town, prompting William to seek a genuine connection for the first time.

“A wise old queen taught me that I had a duty to live. You know, to conquer hate with knowledge and sincerity and love.” William Lee is heard saying in the trailer.

Jason Schwartzman, Lesley Manville, Henry Zaga, Colin Bates, David Lowery, Ariel Schulman, and Drew Droege also star in the movie.

Directed by Luca Guadagnino, Queer is scheduled for release in the United States on November 27.
