KFC continues its holiday ad campaign with a new installment, promoting its Famous Bowls.
The 15-second spot, dubbed “Deck the Bowls” and set to the tune of the iconic Christmas carol “Deck the Halls”, features a man ready to enjoy one of KFC’s Famous Bowls, which are only 5 bucks, as the original song playing in the background informs. Finding out about this great price of the menu item, a group of shoppers holding several shopping bags are ready to head to the nearest KFC to enjoy one of the bowls, too.
KFC’s $5 Famous Bowl features a bowl of mashed potatoes topped with bite-sized pieces of boneless fried chicken, corn, gravy, and a shredded, three-cheese blend. It’s available in both classic and spicy versions, for a limited time only. Prices and participation may vary. The offer is not available on third-party ordering websites/apps.
In addition to the limited-time $5 pricing, the fast-food restaurant chain also offers a Famous Bowl combo (including a Famous Bowl of choice, a medium fountain drink, and an order of Secret Recipe Fries) for $7.99 at participating locations.
