The Current Account Switch Service has launched a new ad campaign, titled “Maybe it’s time to switch”, which encourages current account holders to consider switching their bank account if it isn’t right for them anymore.
Created in partnership with House 337 and MHP Group, the campaign includes several ads that tackle ’80s power suits and boy-band haircuts, mullets, and double denim and highlights that, “just because something was good once doesn’t mean you have to stick with it forever.”
One of the spots features a curly-haired woman who wears an orange puffer jacket even when it becomes a burden for her. One day, when a sanitation worker confuses her puffer jacket with a garbage bag and sees women sporting different styles, decides to consider changing her jacket.
“Puffer jackets. They’re kind of like your current account. If they aren’t working for you anymore, maybe it’s time to switch with the Current Account Switch Service,” the voiceover says at the end of the 30-second advert.
The song playing in the background is “Bello (feat. SOLKI) by Cyril Giroux.
