Vicar Sidney Chambers (James Norton) and Police Investigator Geordie Keating (Robson Green) return for the third season of Grantchester, set to premiere on April 23.
ITV has released the trailer for the upcoming season of its detective drama, set in the 1950s Cambridgeshire village of Grantchester, near Cambridge, and revolving around the unlikely partners in solving crimes, who will be faced with new challenging cases.
“We must put duty above our needs. We must lead by example.” – is the first line told in the clip, featuring then
Chambers being told that he can’t “be a vicar and be with her”. We also get to see Chambers continuing the romantic affair with Amanda and working with Keating, and saying, at the end, “I can’t do it anymore”.
The song used in the trailer is “Scar” by British pop singer Foxes (Louisa Rose Allen by her real name), from her 2016 album “All I Need”.
