DICK’S Sporting Goods invites consumers to shop top-rated running shoes, technology-inspired running apparel and jogging accessories at dicks.com in one of its latest commercials.
The spot features a diverse cast of people getting together for their run through the town, while in the background the 2017 version of the Beatles’ “Come Together,” performed by Gary Clark Jr. and Junkie XL, plays.
The retailer has also recently released a series of new ads starring Charles Barkley. The professional basketball player saves the day for several people who need gear. When one young soccer player has one of her cleats chewed by her dog, Oscar, Barkley, who shows up walking his own dog, “Charles Barkey”, tells the girl and her mom that they can go to dicks.com to order the gear they need and pick it curbside. In another commercial, he talks to two coaches of a kid’s sports team waiting at the baggage carousel in the airport that they can order all the gear they need from Dick’s Sporting Goods and pick it up curbside in under an hour so they can make it to their tournament.
