Matalan showcases its Spring fashion and home collections in a new advert.
The spot shows how a young couple met one night, in a bar, and how their life together evolved to having their own home, children, for whom they have home birthday parties, and various gatherings with friends. Over the years, they wear garments from Matalan for various occasions, including a Papaya green floral textured midi dress (£18), a chic jumpsuit by Be Beau, styled with a multicoloured print design on a black base and featuring a plisse design finished with a halter neck cut (£25), a flattering crop top featuring a white base and delicate spot prints (£18), worn with a pair of high-waisted jeans, a set for girls including a charming top with frilled short sleeves and a square neckline alongside matching shorts, both styled in green with a pretty floral print, and more.
Among the home products showcased throughout the ad are various cushions, including a light grey textured diamond stripe cushion (£12) and a woven bobble geometric print cushion (£16), an LPD Furniture Hoxton distressed oak effect 3 drawer chest (£120), an LPD furniture Lola leopard print storage ottoman (£150), an Outsunny rattan teardrop garden chair (£410), an inlight cane rattan table lamp (£30), and more.

The soundtrack music is the 2014 single “Ready for the Good Life” by English singer Paloma Faith, from her third studio album, “A Perfect Contradiction”.
