GEICO has teamed up with Harlem Globetrotters Moving Co. for a new commercial, dedicated to GEICO’s local agencies and officers, who provide customers with all the support they need.
The spot features a couple (played by Annie Change and David Healey) who enlisted Harlem Globetrotters Moving Co. to help them move their belongings into their new home. The helpers don’t prove to be the right option, though, given the way they handle the boxes.
After several broken plates, glassware and small appliances, the woman and her husband realize that they should have looked better.
“Finding the right person for the job isn’t always easy. But when you have an insurance question, you can always count on your local GEICO agent. They can give you personalized advice and can help you save hundreds,” the voiceover says, urging viewers to get to know their GEICO local agent for expert help on their insurance needs
The commercial stars Harlem Globetrotters Nate “Big Easy” Lofton, Fatima “TNT” Lister, Chris “Smooth” Staples, Donald Johnson, and Evin “Baller” Bartlett.
The Harlem Globetrotters is an exhibition basketball team that combine athleticism, theater, and comedy in their style of play. They have played more than 26,000 exhibition games in 124 countries and territories.
