Subaru has released a new commercial, introducing the all-new 2017 Subaru Impreza, the longest-lasting vehicle in its class.
The 60-second spot, created with the idea that kids grow up in the blink of an eye and titled “Moving Out”, starts with a little boy carrying boxes stuffed with things to the family car. As his parents try to give him a hand or know if he wants some other small items from the garage, he says he’s fine and refuses to take them. Eventually, he manages to put all his belongings in the trunk and says goodbye to his parents by hugging them both.
As the ad comes to an end, with the father closing the trunk, viewers get to see that the little boy is actually a young man ready to take life in his own hands.
“We always trusted our Subaru Impreza will be there for him some day. We just didn’t think some day would come so fast”, says the voiceover.
The song used in the ad is “Blue Eyed Girl” by the American musician and songwriter Mikal Cronin.
