Disney has released the trailer for the upcoming movie Cruella, starring Emma Stone, directed by Craig Gillespie and scheduled for release May 28, 2021, in the United States.
Emma Thompson, Mark Strong, Emily Beecham, Paul Walter Hauser, Joel Fry and Kirby Howell-Baptiste are among the movie stars.
According to the official synopsis, the movie, set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. Obsessed with dogs’ skins, especially Dalmatians, she will soon become the well known villain Cruella de Vil.
The soundtrack music playing in the background is is a cover version of “Who’s Sorry Now?” (written by Ted Snyder and lyrics by Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby) recorded in 1957 by Connie Francis.
