Starbucks Bottled Caramel Frappuccino Commercial

Starbucks showcases its Bottled Caramel Frappuccino Coffee Drink in a new commercial, released with the tagline “Flavor Like No Other”.

Scored by Ida Kudo’s 2015 single “Dancer”, the spot features the bottle shape in unexpected places, aiming to highlight that the drink is consumed by a variety of people, from explorers and athletes to artists, and presents, at the end, the entire range of bottled drinks, which also includes other flavors, like Vanilla, Coffee, Mocha, White Chocolate Mocha, S’mores and Dulce de Leche.

Described as “a rich blend of coffee, milk and buttery caramel taste,” the Bottled Caramel Frappuccino Coffee Drink contains 300 calories. Among its ingredients are, besides the Brewed Starbucks Coffee, reduced-fat milk, sugar, maltodextrin, natural flavors, and pectin.

The coffee chain introduced a new, improved Bottled Caramel Frappuccino Coffee in 2013, adding in front of the word “Caramel” the text “Caramelly Intense” since the recipe had been revised to include “25 percent more caramel flavor.” However, the ad features a bottle that doesn’t include the prefix “Caramelly Intense”.

Ida Kudo is a half Japanese half Danish female electro pop singer/songwriter based in Copenhagen that started a solo career after the end of a group she was part of, Boho Dancer. Described as an artist “mixing feminine elegance and edgy dark grooves with the funky beats of grime and dancehall,” she has been praised over the years for her creation and performance. Her latest single, “Wolf”, is critically acclaimed, being considered “as fierce and powerful as the title would suggest,” and “dazzlingly original”.
