Louis Vuitton presents its latest women’s fragrance, “Spell On You”, in a new commercial starring Léa Seydoux.
The spot, directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino and described as “an elegant take on a passionate love story,” features the French actress, who is also a House Ambassador, in an embrace with a man. According to the brand, through shifting camera angles, the esteemed filmmaker reveals an intense attraction between two bodies – lingering over their skin so every touch heightens the experience.
Serving as soundtrack is Nina Simone’s iconic song “I Put A Spell On You”.
Developed by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Spell On You has notes of iris pallida from Florence, regal rose and sambac jasmin and is available for purchase for $265.
Léa Seydoux has starred in numerous other ads for the French fashion house. She has also promoted its Capuccines Bags and more. Louis Vuitton is also known for having enlisted several other celebrities to star in its ad campaigns, such as Emma Stone, Alicia Vikander, Miranda Kerr, as well as digital superstars Emma Chamberlain and Charli D’Amelio, who have showcased the LV Squad sneaker and LV Sunset mule, Louis Vuitton’s new shoe designs that set the tone for the Pre-Fall 2021 collection designed by Nicolas Ghesquière.
