Mango celebrates the party season with a new collection and a new ad.
The spot, part of the fashion brand’s Fall/Winter 2018 campaign, encourages people to put heels on to walk the dog, dress like Jerry Hall to do the grocery, wear suit and bow-tie for a casual breakfast, again and again, because, this season, any situation seems to be the perfect scenery. The protagonists of the film are doing just that, rocking a selection of garments and accessories that make them stand out from the crowd. A young woman on a bus is wearing a multi color sequin dress and matching earrings, another woman having a snack in the city streets is wearing a red long dress with a side slit with a textured knit sweater in red, with rounded neck and short sleeve, two girlfriends walking their dogs are rocking a metallic finish sweater with an over-the-knee design, wrap neckline and short sleeve, and a metallic thread dress. Men are sporting elegant pieces, as well. A slim-fit velvet suit blazer in burnt orange (which is also available in turquoise) over a white short, accessorized with a black bow-tie, contrast trim slim-fit suit trousers in black, made from flowy fabric and with contrasting trim, two side pockets, coin pocket and two welt pockets on the back, a turtleneck sweater made 100% from wool, featuring long sleeve with elastic cuffs, elastic hem, and cable knit finish, available in black, beige, dark navy, and medium heather gray, are among the pieces they wear throughout the campaign film.
The soundtrack is the 2016 single “Suddenly” by Drugdealer (Mike Collins) featuring vocals of Natalie Mering aka Weyes Blood.
