Lincoln advertises its Wish List Sales Event in a new commercial, highlighting that “the greatest wish of all is one that brings us together”.
Titled “A Dog’s Wish,” the 30-second spot features a dog waiting impatiently for his owner to come back home. The latter, a young woman played by actress and model Gloria Cole, is at the wheel of a Lincoln, driving down a highway. Back home, when the dog gets out of the house to welcome her with a sloppy kiss, she bursts into tears, overwhelmed by emotions.
Scored by Brook Benton’s “I Wanna Be With You (Everywhere You Go)”, the commercial ends with the voiceover saying “the greatest wish of all is one that brings us together”.
The Sales Event gives customers the chance to get incentives and offers on a variety of models including the 2019 Lincoln MKZ, on the 2018 Continental, on the 2018 Lincoln MKX, on the 2019 Lincoln MKC, 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, on the 2019 Lincoln MKT, and on the 2019 Lincoln Navigator.
Last year, the automaker promoted its Wish List Sales Event with a commercial featuring Olivia, a little girl who, after silently making a wish and shaking her snow globe in the backseat of a Lincoln, sees her wish come true.
