Cricket Wireless Christmas Four Mascots Singing Commercial Song

Cricket Wireless Christmas Commercial - Four Mascots Singing

“The best holiday plans are the ones that bring us together” – that’s the message conveyed by Cricket Wireless in its holiday commercial.

Titled “Four for the Holidays,” the 3-minute film opens with the network’s four mascots filming a commercial in which they sing about how Cricket keeps them “sherrier” with four lines of unlimited data for $100/month. After the shooting, the cuddly characters – Dusty, the round-shaped yellow one, Ramon, the round-shaped one with brown hair, Chip, the square-shaped blue one, and Rose, the tall green one, start sharing their holiday plans when Dusty suggests to gather on New Year’s Eve and watch fireworks from the power tower. Unfortunately for him, not even one of his friends is available to do that because they all have different plans: Ramon will still be in Mexico, Chip will be in New York, and Rose will still be in Aspen. As the ad goes on, the four characters are seen enjoying their winter holiday in those places but ending up sad because they are apart from each other.

The end of the video sees Dusty on the New Year’s Eve, sitting by himself on the Cricket Wireless tower when it’s almost midnight, but not for long anymore, because his three friends join him one by one, and they all start singing the song they recorded for the commercial. “The best holiday plans are the ones that bring us together” a line flashing across the screen reads.

The commercial, created by Argonaut, San Francisco, is also available as shorter versions that feature the animated mascots singing the song about the network’s offering.
