Netflix has dropped a trailer for the upcoming romantic movie The Life List, based on the novel of the same name by Lori Nelson Spielman, scheduled to debut on Netflix on March 28, 2025.
A young woman, Alex Rose (played by Sofia Carson), sets out on a deeply personal journey of self-discovery, guided by a list of goals she had penned as a teenager, a final request from her late mother, Elizabeth (Connie Britton). As she immerses herself in the often chaotic and transformative process of her second coming-of-age, she is forced to confront the weight of her grief, while gradually rediscovering the strength and courage to embrace life with renewed purpose and passion.
Last week I was getting my affairs in order. I found this list. I know you were only 13 when you wrote it, but it is a map toward your best self.” Elizabeth is heard saying in the trailer.
Directed by Adam Brooks, the movie also stars Sebastian de Souza, Kyle Allen, José Zúñiga, Marianne Rendón, and Chelsea Frei.
The song playing in the trailer is “Dreams” by the Los Angeles-based artist Hana Vu.
