Sleepless (2017 Movie)
Sleepless is an upcoming thriller about a Las Vegas police detective caught in a web of corrupt cops and the mob-controlled casino underground, whose teenage son is abducted by a crew of gangsters. Thus, he is set out to rescue his son, evade an internal affairs investigation and to bring the kidnappers to justice.
Directed by the Swiss director Baran bo Odar, the film is a remake of the French thriller Nuit Blanche, and stars Jamie Foxx in the leading role, T.I., Drew Sidora, Lloyd Banks, Gabrielle Union, David Harbour and others.
Open Road Film, the distribution company, has released for now only an 11-second sneak peek, with Drake’s song “Energy” playing in the background. The release in theaters is slated for February 24, 2017.
