British company Virgin Media Limited, which provides telephone, television and internet services, has released a new advert to promote its current sale event, which gives customers the chance to get amazing offers on broadband, mobile and TV.
The 30-second spot opens with a young woman sitting on the sofa in her living room and reading the newspaper. She thus learns about the Virgin Media Sale, now on, which lets customers get lightning fast broadband for just 27/month. At this point, a seal shows up in front of her, slapping its limbs and saying “Now that gets the seal of approval”. Music starts playing, but it suddenly stops, the “magic” disappears, and the seal falls on the table, when the woman’s husband enters the room. However, shortly after, the music (the 2014 single “Dernier Métro” by French alternative/indie duo The Pirouettes, from their 2014 album “L’importance des Autres”) starts again, after the seal lasers the “Seal of approval” logo on the wall.
The offer advertised in this spot is valid with a 12-month minimum term. A 35$ setup fee applies.
The company encourages viewers to check out more great offers on its website.
