KARMA: The Dark World is an upcoming immersive first-person cinematic psychological horror experience, developed in Unreal Engine 5, where players take on the role of an investigator, delving deep into the hidden recesses of their suspects’ minds to uncover their darkest secrets.

The game is developed by Pollard Studio and published by Wired Productions and Gamera Games.

The trailer opens with a poignant and thought-provoking quote from William Shakespeare, stating, “Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, Creeps in this petty pace from day to day, To the last syllable of recorded time,” setting the tone for what is to come.

In an alternate timeline, post-war Germany has succumbed to a bleak dystopian regime, controlled by the all-powerful Leviathan Corporation. With an iron grip on society, they wield mass surveillance and mind-altering technology to maintain their dominance. What initially appears to be just another routine case for Roam Agent Daniel McGovern soon spirals into a harrowing journey of deception and treachery. As he delves deeper, the lines between truth and illusion blur, forcing him to question not only the world around him but also the very fabric of his own identity.

The song playing in the trailer is “Into the Mist” by Geng Li.

The game, scheduled for release on March 27, 2025, will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC platforms.
