GEICO’s beloved Gecko returns in a lighthearted new ad set against the backdrop of a bustling city, spotlighting the brand’s commitment to exceptional customer service.

The commercial opens with the Gecko cruising through the city streets in his tiny convertible, on a mission to pick up some gravy. As he smoothly parallel parks, he remarks, “I always seem to get primo parking.” He then adds that “you don’t have to be a VIP to get more than just savings with GEICO” and mentions that “every customer gets tip-top service with 24/7 fast, friendly claims support.”

At this point, a woman (played by Jill Benjamin) recognizes the Gecko on the sidewalk. Slightly starstruck, she approaches and says, “I never do this, but can I get a picture with you?” The Gecko agrees, noting, “Well, it’s not every day you run into animal celebrities.” But his spotlight is short-lived. Moments later, the same woman spots Doug the Pug and excitedly repeats the exact line, eager for another selfie.

The ad wraps up with the familiar voiceover saying the tagline, “Get more than just savings. Get more with GEICO.”
