Amazon has released a series of new ads to highlight that Prime Visa cardmembers earn cash back.
One of the spots, titled “Giraffe Marathon”, features Kevin, a man who loves running and entered the local zoo’s marathon in a novelty costume. Costumed as a giraffe, Kevin is shown running through the woods and stepping into puddles on his way to the finish line.
The voiceover also mentions that the man bought his giraffe costume on Amazon with the new Prime Visa so at least he earned 5% back and adds the tagline “Now, that’s rewarding.”
An onscreen line informs that cardmembers get unlimited 5% back at Amazon with no annual card fee. However, eligible Prime membership is required.
Another ad features Tina, a woman who’s having dinner in an Asian restaurant and ordered herself the Schezuan fire pot, knowing that she will earn 2% back.
Prime Visa cardmembers can also earn unlimited 3% back on their Amazon.com purchases or 5% back with an eligible Prime membership, 3% back at Amazon Fresh online or in-store or 5% back with an eligible Prime membership, unlimited 3% back online or in-store at Whole Foods Market or 5% back with an eligible Prime membership, unlimited 3% back on Chase Travel purchases or 5% back with an eligible Prime membership, unlimited 2% back at gas stations, unlimited 2% back at restaurants whether they dine in or take out, unlimited 2% back on local transit and commuting, including rideshare, and unlimited 1% back on all other purchases anywhere Visa is accepted.
