Sainsbury’s “Tu” clothing brand showcases its autumn collection in a new advert.
The spot is an anthem and features a diverse cast of models, including kids, rocking a variety of pieces from the new season’s lineup. An old lady in an elevator is shown sporting stone tapered leg trousers, a Blondie Grey crew neck T-Shirt, a check crombie coat with wool on top of it, and black faux leather ankle boots with chunky sole, elasticated gusset, and pull on tabs at the ankle.
A plus-size short haired woman is featured dancing in her apartment, wearing dark denim patchwork straight leg jeans and a bra. Her complete outfit includes an orange floral print roll neck top and a cream borg teddy coat.
Another woman’s outfit consists of a grey soft touch overhead hoodie, an animal print jacquard shacket and a stone textured pleated skirt.
A group of children is shown on a sidewalk, sporting a brown leopard print borg shacket (3-14 Years), tan chinos, light wash blue denim culottes with four pockets, an adjustable waist, four pockets, and a rose gold zip and button fly, a pastel rainbow jumper (3-14 Years).
“For whatever today has up its sleeve, let’s dress well to feel good,” the voiceover says at the end of the advert, which is scored by the 2020 single “Do What I Do” by Lady Bri, from her “Makin’ a Move” album. The song is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.
