Rally’s & Checkers advertise their 4 for $3 deal with a 15-second spot titled “Sorry Girl – There’s A Better Deal”.
The video features a guy in his backyard, who, after seeing on TV the Wendy’s 4 for $4 offer, says:
“Sorry, girl, but there’s a better deal out there. I get my pick of one of three sandwiches, seasoned fries and apple pie and a drink for just $3. 4 for $3. Nothing sorry about that”. He is also shown licking his finger after having finished his meal.
The commercial ends with the tagline “Rally’s & Checkers – Fast Foodies know the deal”.
