Mercari promotes its mobile app in a new commercial, highlighting that you can buy and sell almost anything from home.
“With Mercari, your unneeded things can find a new life. It’s easy to make some money or find a great deal,” the voiceover says in the 30-second ad, which features a diverse cast of people using products they bought on Mercari. A young couple use a baby stroller they bought from a mother who didn’t have room anymore for it, a lady completes her living room with a flamingo table lamp purchased from a couple who didn’t like it anymore, and a boy receives a baseball glove from his dad, who bought it from a young player on Mercari.
The commercial, scored by a cover of “Hello, Goodbye” originally performed by The Beatles, ends with the voiceover urging viewers to buy and sell almost anything from home.
The Mercari app is available for download on the App Store and on Google Play.
