Ram Trucks continues its “Long Live Ram” ad campaign with a new ad, featuring an “airplane rescue”.
The 30-second spot features a man taking his father on a Ram Truck at an aviation warehouse, where the latter finds the airplane he’s been flying in his youth, called “Lady Lightning”, and takes it from there to recondition it and send it up in the sky again.
“Long live honor. And long live the truck that salutes those who’ve built this country” – says the voiceover, adding the brand’s tagline, “America’s Longest-Lasting pickups”.
The song playing in the ad is a cover of Bob Dylan’s timeless “Forever Young”, performed by Low Country Sound/Elektra recording artist Anderson East and produced by Grammy award-winning producer Dave Cobb at his studio in Nashville.
