Toyota urges people to spread the joy this holiday season in its Christmas ad, directed by directing duo Kyra and Constantin.
Created by Conill Advertising and titled “Nora’s Joy,” the animated commercial features a woman driving her Toyota Tacoma TRD around the town and keeping her feelings of joy for herself, in jars, which she hides when someone gets closer to her. However, after witnessing a heartwarming scene, of a neighboring couple playing with their child at home, she decides to unleash her emotions. It turns out her garage was filled with jars, but they are all taken in the midsize pickup truck and their content is left to float up in the air. She thus spreads the joy by having all those bright lights lighting up the night sky.

Serving as soundtrack is a song titled “Starlight”, composed by Robert DiPietro and produced by Pickle Music.
The automaker encourages people to share the joy by sending a digital “joy jar” to their dear ones via the Toyota Latino Instagram channel, from December 10 through January 3, 2022. For every share in this time frame, Toyota will make a donation to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund up to a total of $50,000.
