Hyundai promotes the 2022 Hyundai TUCSON in a new commercial, titled “The Way Ahead”.
The spot focuses on some of the car’s advanced tech and safety features, such as the Hyundai Digital Key, which was the result of questioning the way in, the Remote Smart Parking Assist, which was the result of questioning the way out, America’s Best Warranty, launched after questioning the warranty.
“Question everything. We did. The all-new Hyundai TUCSON” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which is set to the tune of the 2020 single “Brand New Thing” by Zayde Wolf, which is the solo project of Dustin Burnett, a Nashville-based producer and musician, from his sophomore full-length album, “Neon Blood Type”.
For its 2022 TUCSON campaign, Question Everything, the automaker has enlisted a host of celebrities, including actors Jason Bateman, Mindy Kaling, and Becky G., basketball star Kawhi Leonard, Emmy award-winning TV host Giada De Laurentiis, and celebrity designer and TV personality Nate Berkus. They star in the main spot, asking some of life’s most unusual and burning questions, such as “Why are there interstate highways in Hawaii?”, “If you enjoy wasting time, is it really wasted?”, “Why does quicksand work so slowly?”, “Shouldn’t the word ambiguous have more than one meaning?”, “If there’s an exception to every rule, is there an exception to THAT rule?” and “Why do they call it your funny bone?”.
