Kia has unveiled a teaser for its Super Bowl commercial, urging viewers to “get ready to fall in love” on February 13.
The video features Robo Dog, an electronic dog that stares at something, most probably the all-electric Kia EV6.
“Get ready to fall in love. 02.13.22” onscreen lines read at the end of the 15-second teaser, which is set to the tune of Bonnie Tyler’s 1983 hit single Total Eclipse of the Heart.
The spot is part of an integrated ad campaign that includes a partnership between Kia and the Petfinder Foundation to help shelter animals find their forever homes.
The 2022 Kia EV6, available in three trim levels (Light, Wind and GT-Line), is available for purchase starting from $40,900, but customers can have it for $33,400 after the $7,500 Federal Vechicle Tax Credit.
This year, several other brands have already released their Big Game ads. Among them are Sam’s Club, which has launched its first-ever Super Bowl ad, starring Kevin Hart, AT&T, which has enlisted Mila Kunis and Demi Moore for a hilarious ad, and more. Other brands, on the other hands, such as Doritos and Rakuten, have unveiled only teasers for their Super Bowl commercials.
The Super Bowl will see the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams facing off at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
