AT&T promotes its DIRECTV NOW service in a new commercial, starring Taylor Swift, aimed at highlighting that, “When you have #TaylorSwiftNOW with DIRECTV NOW, it’s like finding a caticorn at the end of a rainbow”.
Titled “Taylor Swift’s Caticorn Adventure”, the 30-second spot opens with the question “Why get the same old cable plan when you could get something tailored to you?” “Good question!” says Taylor Swift, while sitting on the back of a “caticorn”. She then asks the AT&T spokesman to join her and the two go on a trip through a forest. In the meantime, the guy, who’s enjoying the ride sitting on the caticorn’s tail, says “DIRECTV NOW not only gives you live TV on every device, but you also get exclusive Taylor Swift content, you should definitely get it.” “I did and I love it,” the pop singer answers. Finally, the voiceover adds “DIRECTV NOW gives you more for your Taylor thing because that’s our thing”.
The ad also informs that tickets for Taylor Swift reputation Stadium Tour, with special guests Camila Cabello and Charli XCX, are on sale now.
