Lyft encourages you to “Drive Toward Your Goals” in its latest commercial, aiming to highlight that, no matter what
you’re driving toward, they will help you get there.
The 30-second spot, set to the rhythms of Brenton Wood’s “The Oogum Boogum Song”, features several people each driving toward their goals: a man is going back home, at his family, another one at a restaurant to have dinner, another one at the beach, for a sunbath, a woman is driving towards a place where she’s supposed to perform in a cabaret show, a man is driving towards the hospital, where his wife is scheduled for an ultrasound, and more.
“No matter what you’re driving toward, we’ll help you get there.” – final onscreen lines read.
Lyft, that matches drivers with passengers who request rides through its smartphone app (with passengers paying automatically through the app), encourages you to be your own boss and sign up to drive as soon as possible, promising benefits like the possibility to keep the tips from your passengers, to make more money thanks to increased Prime Time pricing during peak hours, and to meet awesome, friendly people.
