Virgin Voyages No Kids On The Ocean Commercial / Advert Song – Feat. Kids Singing

Virgin Voyages No Kids On The Ocean Commercial - Feat. Kids Singing

Virgin Voyages has launched a new ad campaign to highlight that its cruises are for those 18-years-old or older, no kids allowed.

The spot, which marks the first work of Special US for the cruise line, is created like a music video from the ’80s and features footage of several children singing about the Virgin Voyages policy and how they feel left behind, juxtaposed with footage of Virgin Voyages luxury vessels and parents enjoying their cruise, kid-free.

“Parents are going on a cruise without us, kids, and we know whose fault this is. Virging Voyages says we can’t cruise till we’re 18, which makes us shh shh shake. Virgin Voyages says no kids on the ocean, so we call this bullsh…..” (the second part of the word is drowned out by ship horn).

The full song is below:

Mama, Papa, why’s your suitcase packed, but not mine?
How could you leave us kids behind?
Parents are going on a cruise without us kids,
And we know whose fault this is.

Virgin Voyages says we can’t cruise til we’re 18,
Which makes us shake, shake, shake like we’ve had caffeine.
Virgin Voyages says no kids on the ocean,
So we’re causing a commotion.

You’ll be sipping cocktails under a starlit night,
While we’re back home, without an invite.

Sure, you’ve earned a gourmet spread,
But we’re experiencing existential dread.

Adults, enjoy the cruise, we know you deserve it,
But the fact we can’t go is total bullsh… (foghorn noise).”

The campaign, which includes TV, digital, and paid social, runs in the U.S., Australia and U.K. and is accompanied by a promotion for $300 off.
