Mazda Canada announces, in its latest commercial, the debut of its first electrical car, set to take place on October 23rd, at Tokyo Motor Show.
The spot, which is actually a 15-second trailer for the Mazda EV, encourages people to open their mind. It features a young couple hanging out and enjoying a ride, without giving though a glimpse at the vehicle.
Serving as soundtrack is “Free Rider” by Spirit City.
The automaker has confirmed that it will unveil its very first 100% battery electric vehicle, which will be a completely new model, designed to offer “performance drivers can enjoy effortlessly and whole-heartedly,” at the Tokyo Motor Show, which will be held from October 24 through November 4.
Mazda will also launch a plug-in hybrid model, due in late 2020 or early 2021.
