Apple advertises its iPhone XR in a new commercial, that focuses on the all-screen Liquid Retina display.
The 60-second spot, titled “Color Flood,” features hundreds of people wearing different-colored jumpsuits – from red to blue, white, yellow, black and coral, as they’re “flooding” a deserted town. They are seen jumping down steps, sliding over car hoods and even breaking down fences until they all arrive on a central location. At the end of the commercial, the tagline “Make room for color” flashes across the screen.
Serving as soundtrack is the 2017 single “Come Along” by English multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Cosmo Sheldrake.
The iPhone XR’s edge-to-edge LCD measures 6.1 inches and has a pixel resolution of 1,792 by 828. The iPhone XS has a 5.8-inch OLED panel with 2,436-by-1,125 resolution, and the XS Max has a screen measuring 6.5 inches and resolution to 2,688 by 1,242.
The XR starts at $749. Now, for a limited time, you can get an iPhone XR from $599 when you trade in your smartphone.
