Hyundai Palisade Sibling Rivalry Commercial - Feat. Siblings Matthew and Brady Tkachuk

Hyundai Canada promotes its Palisade in a new ad starring Matthew and Brady Tkachuk.

Titled “Sibling Rivalry”, the spot is based on the idea that sibling rivalry starts even before the second child joins the family and continues as the kids grow and compete for everything from toys to attention, and even when brothers both get to the NHL, the rivalry remains on and off the ice.
A mother (Chantal Oster) is shown behind the wheel of the new Hyundai Palisade, asking her two boys in the backseat to knock it off. Realizing that they’ll keep fighting and hitting each other for the rest of the ride, she decides to separate them so she stops the car to give one of them the chance to get in the third seat. At this point, it is revealed that the boys quarreling in the back are NHL stars Matthew and Brady Tkachuk. “I warned you,” their mother says, determined to have a peaceful trip. The two siblings say sorry but this doesn;t mean they can sit as they used to.

At the end of the commercial, the voiceover introduces the Hyundai Palisade mentioning that “Third row penalty box comes standard” and adding the tagline “Made for those who drive hockey”.

An onscreen line informs that Hyundai is Official Vehicle of the NHL.

Earlier this year, on February 4, 2023, Brady Tkachuk of the Ottawa Senators was captured congratulating his brother, who plays for the Florida Panthers, during the NHL All-Star Game in Sunrise, Florida.
