Esprit has launched the Spring campaign, celebrating everything that makes you, You, and inviting you to express yourself and show the world who you are and what you stand for.
The 30-second spot, released with the hashtag #ImEsprit, features a wide variety of people in all kind of places, such as a hill, a beach, on a stadium, and on the top of a building in the city, sporting Spring 2017 looks that can be purchased at the brand’s website.
The red-haired woman with freckles and a nose piercing in the curve of the nostril shown at the beginning of the ad (Amanda), illustrating the idea of freedom from the top of a hill, is wearing a flattering, fail-safe jumpsuit. She says she’s constantly inspired by the beauty of nature and that she heads for the countryside when she need to recharge her batteries.
Annie is sporting, instead, the Rip It Up look, injecting a hint of street-wear into her look with bleached ripped denim and casual cotton stripes. Woo, who is dancing on the top of a building, and thinks that “Standing up for what you believe in means sometimes taking risks and forging your own path”, is wearing a Light as Air look, consisting of a T-shirt, sweater and jacket in light, breezy colors of summer. The couple Alasdair and Shea, posing for the campaign on a stadium, say that “Love is the freedom to choose whoever and whatever makes you happy” and that “when it’s right, everything clicks into place”. Their look, called Signature Style, involves pairing denim with contemporary khaki outerwear and easy block color basics to create basics.
#ImFreedom, #ImFuture, #ImCourage, #ImChange, #ImLove, #ImEsprit – are the hashtags appearing on screen throughout the ad, which features the song “Right Here, Right Now” by British big beat musician Fatboy Slim, released in April 1999 as the fourth single from his second studio album You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby.
