Canal+ promotes its rich sports line-up in a new campaign created by longtime ad agency BETC and titled “The Lurkers, The Neighbor”.
The campaign includes two films that bring humor in situations where sport passionates go above and beyond to catch themselves some sports on Canal+. In one of them, a man goes to the woman living downstairs to tell her that she has a water leak because his ceiling his wet. While the woman tries to understand what kind of leak is that, given the fact that it’s impossible for a leak to go up, heir neighbor is constantly looking at her TV, where a football match is on. He then comes up with all kinds of ideas so that she would keep the door open and he could watch the game. He even asks her if she has some salt or pepper he could borrow and an extension cord to hang the laundry.
“Passion. It takes you there.” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial.
On Canal+, sports fans can watch UEFA Champions League, Formula One, and many other sports.
