Peroni Nastro Azzuro has launched a new ad campaign for its Stile Capri, the brand’s inaugural lighter lager and very first brand extension since 1963.
Created by independent creative agency Trouble Maker in partnership with award-winning comedy director Camila Zapiola, and production company Stink Films, the campaign includes four spots aimed at highlighting that you can have a taste of an Italian holiday wherever you are, by drinking Stile Capri. They show various individuals in apparently glamorous settings on the Italian Riviera, taking a sip of the new Peroni Nastro Azzuro Stile Capri. As the filming angle changes, viewers get to see the drinkers are actually in a more mundane setting. In one of the spots, a young couple seems to lounge in the sun, near some lemon trees, but it soon turns out they are actually in a garden centre, sitting on some chaise-longs that are for sale.
The commercial, scored by “La domenica” by Sandro Delle Donne, ends with the tagline “The taste that takes you there” appearing across the screen.
The campaign is set to run in four markets, including the UK, Italy, Hungary and Romania, across TV, social and digital.
Brewed with a light touch of Italian lemon zest and olive leaf, Stile Capri offers a delicate balance of bitterness and fresh citrus notes, and a moderate ABV for a range of occasions.
