Volkswagen UK showcases its new T-Roc Range in a new ad.
The 15-second spot opens with a dog barking as a young girl with blonde hair and a heart-shaped eye patch is riding her skateboard through the neighborhood. The next scene shows a woman behind the wheel of a T-Roc wearing a similar eye patch, in the shape of a heart, which implies that, as an adult, the respective girl opted for a car with a fresh exterior design, that exudes confidence.
The advert, set to the tune of the 1975 single “Gotta Move On (To My Destiny)” by American rhythm and blues vocal group The Ovations, ends with the voiceover announcing that the new T-Roc is available and in stock.
Included on the 2008 album “Play The Game – The XL and Sounds of Memphis Story Volume 2”, the song is available for purchase on Amazon for $0.99.
The new T‑Roc boasts characteristic LED daytime running lights and modern, darkened tail light clusters, Nappa leather power-adjustable front seats, Climatronic air-conditioning with touch interface, and enhanced technical features.
