Free Guy Movie Ryan Reynolds as Dude Commercial Song

Ryan Reynolds has released a hilarious commercial for his upcoming movie, Free Guy.

The promotional video pokes fun at the Hollywood fitness industrial complex by giving a behind the scenes look at Dude, a blonde-haired, muscular character, who is one of the villains in the film.

“I do know you hear actors complaining about how hard their movie workouts are,” Reynolds says in voiceover, in the opening of the ad, as the massive Dude gets out of bed, grabs a gold chain, and comes into the frame. “I don’t have time for that. I’ve been at this one week and I’ve got to tell you… it’s coming in nicely.” He then mentions that he starts every day with “a protein bomb made exclusively of human muscle”. “It’s completely organic and illegal,” he specifies. Reynolds also jokes that one of his kids was born “fully grown with shoes on, which was weird for Blake” (his wife).

At the end of the video, onscreen lines inform that tickets are now on sale for the movie, which will be available in theaters later this month, August 13.

The soundtrack music is Mariah Carey’s “Fantasy (Mixed)”.

Directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn, Free Guy also stars Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi.
