Sky Atlantic has released the trailer for its upcoming original drama series I Hate Suzie.
The show stars Billie Piper as Suzie Pickles, who – according to the official synopsis – “has her life upended when she is hacked and pictures of her emerge in an extremely compromising position.” The series shows her unravelling as the event ricochets around every area of her life and follows her as she gets through the stages of shock, denial, fear, shame, bargaining, guilt, anger and acceptance, all with her best friend and manager, Naomi (Leila Farzad), by her side, who’s helping her to hold her life, career and marriage to Cob (Daniel Ings) together.
The trailer reveals that Suzie – a British celebrity – finds herself one day in the middle of a nude photo scandal, which has an impact on her life and marriage.
The song used in the trailer is “My Baby Just Cares For Me” by SATV Music.
I Hate Suzie launches on Sky Atlantic on August 27.
