U.K.’s favourite online bingo site Gala Bingo has launched a new ad campaign, titled “Bingo Like a Boss” and targeted at a younger audience, which is invited to experience the online game. For the purpose, the company has enlisted Tattoo Fixers TV presenter Paisley Billings to feature in four different spots as Gloria, a “sassy woman who slays life whilst casually playing bingo”.
In one of the ads, dubbed “Toe Jame,” she’s playing Gala Bingo on her smartphone and an electric guitar using her feet at the same time. The spots encourage viewers to “bingo like a boss”.
The campaign, created by ad agency Antidote and directed by LA-based comedy director duo Fatal Farm, marks Gala Bingo’s rebrand, which includes “an updated logo and tone of voice, a cleaner, refreshed look and colour palette, and a new approach to digital.” Gala Bingo also continues its sponsorship of ITV’s The Chase and Channel 5’s iconic Aussie soaps, Neighbours and Home and Away, as part of the campaign.
“We want to show a younger audience how fun and exhilarating the game can be, showing there is something for everyone. We’re really excited to unleash Gloria on the nation and bring the sass to bingo!” Karina Adrian, Head of Brand Marketing at Gala Bingo, said in a press statement.
