Citroën C4 Picasso Becomes C4 SpaceTourer Advert Song

Citroen C4 SpaceTourer Advert

After the announcement, at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, of the switch from the “Picasso” name to “SpaceTourer” to designate its MPVs, Citroën has released a hilarious new advert in the UK, highlighting that C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso become C4 SpaceTourer and Grand C4 SpaceTourer.

The spot, titled “The Weekender” and released with the tagline “New Name, Same Excellence”, features a family spending a weekend at a rental villa where things don’t go as they expected to. The couple of friends they are sharing the place with get the nicest room for themselves, share a long drawn out kiss in front of them on the boat trip, their son pees in the pool. All these and more make them believe there’s nothing more relaxing than getting into their Citroën C4 SpaceTourer and hit the road.

The advert, soundtracked by “The Good Life”, a cover of Sacha Distel’s “La Belle Vie”, marks the third installment in the brand’s “Can’t wait for the road” campaign, which kicked off in 2016 and continued in January 2017. It will run in several other European countries, including Spain, Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland, along with four shorter ones focusing on specific features of the C4 SpaceTourer, like the boot volume, which is up to 704 L, the presence of three independent rear seats, hands-free tailgate, and the 360° Park Assist & Active Parking Aid System.
