Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming reality show The Ultimatum.
The provocative reality series, which comes from the creators of Love Is Blind, follows six different couples on the verge of marriage, that put their love to the test, while shacking up with other potential matches. One of the partners of each couple has issued an ultimatum, forcing them to either get married or move on. According to the official synopsis, over the course of eight weeks, each will choose new potential partners for an unforgettable experience in hopes of gaining clarity on the future of their relationships.
The trailer features the couples that participate at this new social experiment and gives details on their “journey”. Real-life couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey serve as the show’s hosts and explain to the contestants the rules. Couples are tasked with moving in with a new partner of their choice by the end of the week and, at the end of the experiment, they will have to make a decision: pursue the new relationship or return to their original partner.
The song used in the trailer is the 2021 single Another You by Alok & Bloodline, feat. The Vamps. The track is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.
The Ultimatum Season 1, consisting of 10 episodes, comes to Netflix on April 6th.
